1. Not worth the $$.An amazing app and perfect for any type of horror fan! True crime fans, horror novel fans, gore fans, basically everyone who's a fan of any kind of horror will find something to love! My singular complaint is that there isn't a separate Playlist for true stories from around the internet like the Being Scared videos, it's all mixed in with the true crime stuff.

2. Why do decade old voice actors sound more stiff than a wooden plank? Why is the entire app slower than my old phone from 2013? Why do stories keep restarting randomly in the middle of itself? This app doesn't feel good to use and it doesn't feel good to listen to.

The UI is barely functional at times with spikes of unresponsiveness of up to 6 seconds, the buttons for categories are literally just on the text rather than in a clickable box, the options button on stories is so small it's a consistent game of Russian Roulette as to whether you're going to open the panel or accidentally select the story and the app does NOT auto-play between single stories.

4. Bottom line is app is clunky, unintuitive, non-responsive at times, and seems like the server for it is an old DOS computer.This was a 5 star review for over a year, but now that the ambience doesn't play for over a minute without a story I am unsubscribing and removing the app.

5. I love to listen to the stories when falling asleep or I'm at work, and my absolute favorite stories are the hour plus ones.

6. SPECTACULAR! I absolutely love the ambiance options and the fact that I can leave stories playing without my screen being on for hours.

7. 11/10 don't even bother w the free version, it's way better than you'd think :)How come there are only like 9 ambience choices and they all sound like basic sound bites around 45-60 seconds long on loop.

8. Did not even mention if they intend to correct it.) I can get all the rest on youtube for free and I bought a sound machine at Target to play ambient sound all night.

9. Additionally the UI is...bad. A much better option, I feel, is to just download YouTube Minimizer and listen to the narrators' videos there.

1. Fix Chilling Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Chilling: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Chilling App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Chilling" » Open Chilling: Horror Movies & More » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Chilling » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Chilling: Horror Movies & More app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Chilling servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Chilling: Horror Movies & More" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Chilling app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Chilling might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Chilling. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Chilling then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Chilling not working

2. Fix Chilling Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Chilling be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Chilling not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Chilling may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
