1. This is completely unnecessary and led me to keep the app off of my phone (I ended up loading it onto another device that doesn't have much personal data on it).App is simple and easy to use, I am much more impressed with the durability with this toy! 75lb German Shepard has supervised play with this toy regularly and it's still going after over a yearSo far i haven't used the toy yet but just responding to the asshats who are giving low ratings for app permissions is dumb.
2. It might be awesome but won't know as permission settings are not comfortable enough to continue onThe Wickedbone itself is cool, and the app generally works... But I have no idea why I need to grant the app permission to access the files on my device.
3. Not a fan of intrusive apps that don't even need to use the data they're requesting. For me the app doesn't work so it's rendered completely useless.1. It seems to me that they have fixed their permissions.
4. It also might need your storage access to download the AI since the wickedbone needs to understand taps on the wheels then they need somewhere to store that data.
5. There's a little white rubber bone in the middle of the bone you just remove it & charge it.Tried for hours to get it to connect to my device, looking to see if there was something I am missing.
6. If you are still worried about permissions, then why do you have apps on your phone? The only problem I've had was getting to the charging port.
7. Overall concept is a great one! However like other recent reviews, I simply don't care for media file access nor do I see the logic in the need for it.
8. The advertisement allowed for my abilities to control it away from home once and also cannot understand the need for my phone's GPS either.
9. The first permission forces you to give it free reign, for no functional reason, prying into your private photos, contacts, and media at broad.
10. Should you decline--well, you can't use the app eliminating the full use of the toy device itself. The background is white and the text is white in the settings menu.
11. I've had the bone at least 2yrs now and now I cannot even play with it to see if it's even holding charge.
