Princess MedallionClass Customer Insights

1. A sampling of major issues: very often just spins forever even when doing local tasks on board like checking restaurant reservations; can't view past cruises at all; in no way designed for low bandwidth/unreliable connections, despite that being its main use case, so it for instance constantly reloads information; WiFi management (e.g. switching active devices) is super flaky and unreliable; and the UI is badly organized.

2. getting to the right location on the phone is difficult the app sucksMost of the time the app does not open, and if it does, it is incredibly slow.

3. Connections are inconsistent at best, functionality from managing bookings, booking individual excursions, updating profiles etc, have been an exercise in frustration every step of the way.

4. It doesn't cache content so even stuff that rarely changes has to be loaded each time, which makes it very slow for almost everything you do.

5. Having paid a large sum for a cruise the process is far too complex and time consuming.

6. It would also be nice to view all my itineraries at once (i.e., dinner reservations, ship activities, and excursions).

7. Not very polished and everything on the ship requires you to use it.the system is slow, complex and difficult for seniors who are not computer adept.

8. The number of times I wanted to scream my frustration because I couldn't easily make a payment is a testament to the app's failure to fulfill it's basic functions.It's basically as bad as the reviews suggest.

9. Dining reservations do not persist and it does not synch well at all with the data structure that feeds the browser.

10. (For example, way to hide the port arrival selection) Terrible decision to make checkin only available through a poorly laid out app.

11. Often choosing a menu item takes you to a 'loading' screen and it just sits there and spins forever.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Princess MedallionClass Issues

1. Fix Princess MedallionClass Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Princess MedallionClass: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.

    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Princess MedallionClass" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Princess MedallionClass app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Princess MedallionClass might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Princess MedallionClass. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Princess MedallionClass then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Princess MedallionClass not working


2. Fix Princess MedallionClass Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Princess MedallionClass be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Princess MedallionClass not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Princess MedallionClass may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I am trying to download Medallion Class app to my phone with little luck, it is very very very slow and when you thing its ok will suddenly log out, I cant get it to download to my PC. It appears very unstable and looking at the rteviews I have yet to find better than 2 *. Is there any way of downloading and using the app as it is supposed to work I have a new ALCATEL 1 5033XR. with EE as the provider, will this app work an this phone and network? thanks Jim Chick

  • I have completed all areas of my Princess Medallion app except the passport information section. I am able to type in name, passport number, but it will not allow me to input my date of birth and passport expiration date. What comes up is a 2022 January calendar with today's current date. Cannot get past this calendar. What is solution.

  • Unable to save Personal Info and emergency contact. Scanning my passport didn't work so I manually entered everything.
