1. They charge a fee to use a debit or credit but that's because of the convenience of making a payment immediately! The bank account info you use to make your payments is only a 50 cent fee! I love this! And I love using apps for everything, it makes life so simple! Thank you so much Resident Center!Horrible to pay the second account because there isnt an option to get to the second.

10. May have to contract landlord to move to month to month so it don't freeze up on your last month.Won't let YOU choose how much to pay and when.

11. We can't put any requests in at all on any interface which is really troubling.Mine worked fine till end of lease then got messed up but was quickly fixed.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Resident Center Issues

1. Fix Resident Center Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Resident Center: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Resident Center App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Resident Center" » Open Resident Center » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Resident Center » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Resident Center app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Resident Center servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Resident Center" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Resident Center app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Resident Center might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Resident Center. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Resident Center then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Resident Center not working


2. Fix Resident Center Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Resident Center be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Resident Center not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Resident Center may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
