Why should I report an Issue with Boomerang?

1. Still not impressed.It works on my phone, my laptop, and tablet, but WILL NOT WORK ON MY CHROMECAST! It looks like it is working, to begin with, but the instant you select a Movie, or Television show, everything goes black, and you then only hear the audio without video at all.

2. I hope boomerang can change the sling stream back to the way it used to be so I can watch the broadcast on a television channel when I see it listed.Would be nice if the control options weren't basic/nonexistent.

3. I don't want to get irritated by helping developer troubleshoot a problem that I have never experienced with another video service.The app is ok, at the time I was using it, I only wish they had a slightly wider selection.

4. Disney, Netflix, HBO, and Paramount all work without issue, but this application does not show video.

5. My main problem is that whenever I'm watching a show/movie that is meant to be seen in a 16:9 aspect ratio, it will change to a squashed 4:3 aspect ratio when I exit and return to the app.

6. No skip intro, no pop up menu to start from the beginning or to easily see more episodes for a show, no ability to create a playlist, no ability to create a watch list, etc.

7. Other than that and not being able to change the size of CC, it's a pretty nice service.Only 4 stars because recently the screen will be normal size for a few seconds and then it shrinks to a small size to where even the subtitles are longer than the screen itself.

8. It works fine on the TV but the app does not work good on the phone.

9. I'm waiting to see if I get charged.I love this app, but a few months ago the picture ratio changed on the broadcast stream on sling.

1. Fix Boomerang Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Boomerang: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Boomerang App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Boomerang" » Open Boomerang » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Boomerang » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Boomerang app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Boomerang servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Boomerang" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Boomerang app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Boomerang might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Boomerang. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Boomerang then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Boomerang not working

2. Fix Boomerang Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Boomerang be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Boomerang not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Boomerang may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
