Why should I report an Issue with AutoMate - Car Dashboard?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of BitSpice to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. I have mine installed on my Android 10 head unit inside of my vehicle so it is constantly onthey need to approve the little tweaks like that like it doesn't learn my wallpaper it doesn't remember my settings it doesn't allow me to make my program a device administrator for whatever reason I don't know I would definitely bump the Stars UP!!!The app it's self is great with many awesome features, however there are some bugs that need addressing.

2. It says it should let me do that in the options, but it still defaults to the Automate maps, and when I click Google maps, it bring me to the default Google maps, not the car version like Android Auto.

3. If that icon could stay in the bottom of the screen that would be most helpfulI wanted this to be a good alternative to Android Auto and Google Driving mode.

4. This app is 50% functional.Would love to love this app, but it fails at the one thing I want to keep from Android Auto, the use of Google maps.

5. Changing to waze or google maps does not return to automate after starting direction even with that setting toggle on.

6. Do I do have one grape oh, this app just doesn't seem to display Google Maps properly in the map section.

7. When the charger "disconnects" or the power turns off the app doesn't seem to recognize it some times which causes the screen to remain on and the music to continue playing.

8. Is this app still supported? If not, how can it still take money for 'premium' features that don't work?I prefer this app over the Google auto app because it offers quite a few more features than the Google Auto app.

9. Turning the phone's speaker volume up would be great...This app makes a good substitute for android auto/carplay on headunits with mirror link capabilities.

10. The reverse is true for when the charger connects or power is present therefore settings like start or launch at charger connects do not function.

11. The app crashes, mainly in navigation, if I don't exit the app after changing settings, such as changing default navigation app.

1. Fix AutoMate Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart AutoMate: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the AutoMate App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AutoMate" » Open AutoMate - Car Dashboard » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AutoMate » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear AutoMate - Car Dashboard app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AutoMate servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AutoMate - Car Dashboard" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check AutoMate app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AutoMate might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall AutoMate. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AutoMate then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AutoMate not working

2. Fix AutoMate Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AutoMate be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AutoMate not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AutoMate may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
