1. So I'm stuck using the website since this app is useless.Can't even login the app just doesn't work I've reinstalled 3 times since I'd rather use the app for convenience than the website but it seems that that would be impossible at this point ah well it was worth a shot.It didn't recognize the account from which I returned a DVD, checked out more, & paid fines yesterday around 5:00 p.m. If I need to activate an already active account, for mobile, the help section doesn't tell me how to do this.I uninstalled this app because it became unuseable.

2. Yes it is a free service but that does not mean it has to have poor UX.App doesn't work, even after yesterday's update, still says to check my internet settings on my phone (my settings are just fine).

3. Sorry.It's pretty easy to manuever, however I'm old school and I like the classic catalog best.Poor. I have put in my barcode several times and the website took me all over the place.

4. Half the time I tried to use the app it would tell me the user name or pin aren't correct and I can't use the app so it's of no use to me.

5. I gave it 1 star because you can't rate lower.The font is extremely small.

6. Other than that everything is just peachy.Needs better integration with Overdrive app.

7. It won't let you copy and paste password after you put in your card number.

8. Just an absolutely frustrating totally worthless absolute no good app.

9. Needs better design as everything looks random.

10. Reminds me of an old pre-2000 webpage.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix mySAPL Issues

1. Fix mySAPL Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart mySAPL: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the mySAPL App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "mySAPL" » Open mySAPL » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for mySAPL » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear mySAPL app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from mySAPL servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "mySAPL" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check mySAPL app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, mySAPL might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall mySAPL. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall mySAPL then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing mySAPL not working


2. Fix mySAPL Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make mySAPL be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to mySAPL not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, mySAPL may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
