1. Also, the 30 second rewind button has an unfortunate glitch where it sometimes randomly goes forward or backward two minutes.I signed up for the free trial initially, having been assured by customer service that I could unsubscribe at any time, and still retain access to my purchased audio books.

2. Nothing I tried would cancel the automatic charge to my credit card.Beware of free trial and using credits!! I signed up for a specific book and figured I'd decide later whether or not it was worth paying for.

3. I also tried a free trial with three credits and tried three different 1 credit books.

4. Much to my surprise, I noticed on my bank statement that I was charged $15 for that credit without the app notifying me I was about to be charged! Super pissed! If I knew that was the case, I would've just signed back up for Audible!This is one of the most confusing audiobooks app I've ever used.

5. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because you get 3 free audiobooks if you're a first time user.I didn't give it much of a chance, but using it didn't feel intuitive.

6. I don't appreciate the seemingly intentional elusiveness of the cancelation process and being charged for something that was included in the free trial.This is a very great app, as well as my 1st book reading app.

7. Some books are worse than others, but for a lot of books if you try and rewind 30 seconds the first time you do it in a couple minutes the app will rewind or fast forward multiple minutes.

8. However, when the trial period was over, and the subscription began, I chose to purchase a couple additional audiobooks, then.

9. My only reasoning for 4 stars is because of the price per month, but I also take into consideration that they have free books as well.Listening is so choppy.

10. They did seem to have a good selection of audiobooks and you do get two credits free for signing up.

11. I couldn't tell how much books cost until I clicked "download" (which apparently means "buy") and I could never figure out where it showed how many credits I had.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Issues

1. Fix Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "" » Open Books & More » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Books & More app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select " Books & More" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing not working

2. Fix Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • the audiobooks app says 30 days of free trial. but on the same day it also charge for 14 usd which is 18bnd in my country. can i get a refund or cancel subscription? thank you
