1. Perhaps if there were an assessment e.g. it will unlock sixteenths if you can pass an 8th note exam.Reasonable app, but I don't think it really helps with hearing rhythm, because the notes move towards a target I can play the game easily with sound off.
2. Unfortunately, when I completed the last level, the text included the word "ass." I don't feel comfortable sharing this with my students now.On my Samsung and on my HTC you have to be Very precise in tapping the moving notes, an exercize in frustration.
3. I'm a music teacher & had my students try it out (i let them try Rhythmic Village too) If they tap once on screen for the whole notes or half notes for example, they gonna play these notes as a quarter note on their instrument.
4. However I'd like to use this with some of my students who could easily skip ahead to eighth or sixteenth notes and dont want to waste their time on the early stuff.
5. Maybe later in the game there is less of a visual reference but I can't tell because I can't skip the beginner section. This is like 99% what I wanted except I am baffled that it DOES NOT ENFORCE HOLD TIME.
6. I feel like I'm actually learning something and I'm excited to see if it will apply to dance.Looks like a fun game, but there's no way to skip the introductory levels.
7. It's unfortunate the game is designed in a limited way (it would be as simple as letting users choose a difficulty level in the beginning)Some upgrades/improvements needed.
8. It's better if players learn to hold the long notes, even on screen.
9. Hearing the tapping sound helps them learn to listenPretty good.
10. improvements i would like to see would he a different sound for the first beat, and the abikity to skip forward so that exercises can be unlocked.
11. Meaning if you already know anything about rhythm, you'd still have to go through multiple beginner levels before unlocking anything that would remotely challenge you.
