Why should I report an Issue with Tide Charts?

1. The Tide chart is very clear.WARNING - ABANDOWARE! Was once a great app but now basically unusable due to invasive, constant, full screen, unskippable, full volume ads - ads that you can't get rid of even if you pay for no ads.

2. It appears the only alternative is to remove a fine app.Paid to remove ads from this app as it has two features that don't appear often - the full calendar - so not just 7 days, and the excellent graphs which give you a tide height at all times of the day.

3. Some of the tide stations are in the wrong place (Immingham Dock appears on the River Severn where Sharpness should be) and other users have also reported similar issues.

4. Also the tide heights don't seem to match with other apps - no matter which datum you use.The app is good, but the ads are horrible.

5. Screw that, there are plenty other good tide apps that don't abuse users.

6. Other apps have graphics like this, but with this app you can look back in time as well as forward, so your not stuck with the time bar on the left edge of the screen at midnight.

7. HOWEVER!!! I am absolutely inundated with (not ads) but full screen requests to download a weather app complete with very annoying sound.

8. Banner ads I get but full screen prevent you from using the app ads are the pits.I used for a while with occasional Ads and as an open water swimmer I found it useful.

9. "Tide Chart FREE" (note that "Chart" is singular whereas this app's name is plural) is a good one.

10. But when ads blast audio at full volume with no way to stop the for 5 seconds, its more like extortion trying to get people to pay for the ad free version.

11. It now has extremely invasive and obnoxious ads which pop-up at random times while using the app and dominate the entire screen while also blasting away audio.

1. Fix Tide Charts Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Tide Charts: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Tide Charts App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Tide Charts" » Open Tide Charts » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Tide Charts » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Tide Charts app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Tide Charts servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Tide Charts" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Tide Charts app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Tide Charts might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Tide Charts. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Tide Charts then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Tide Charts not working

2. Fix Tide Charts Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Tide Charts be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Tide Charts not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Tide Charts may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
