UPDATE: Since the developer reached out to me to explain how the under performing widget is more Google's fault, I've changed my mind and will be raising my rating from a 4 to a 5.I like that it shows exact place of water temp and air temp.Good app, thanks! Will be good to know water temperature data by specific beaches (this information available freely on some websites), also, paid (let say, $2.99 will be fair enough) app instead annual subscription should work better, at least for me.Very simple app but does what I need for a quick update on the tides and water temp.

2. Thanks for the update had no idea NOAA was having issues.Love it! It shows the ocean temperature, air temp, and tide info all on one screen in an easy to read interface! Simple and easy.Horrible can't see temps, all mashed together.

1. Fix Seaside Buoy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Seaside Buoy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Seaside Buoy App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Seaside Buoy" » Open Seaside Buoy: Ocean Temp Tides » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Seaside Buoy » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Seaside Buoy: Ocean Temp Tides app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Seaside Buoy servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Seaside Buoy: Ocean Temp Tides" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Seaside Buoy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Seaside Buoy might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Seaside Buoy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Seaside Buoy then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Seaside Buoy not working

2. Fix Seaside Buoy Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Seaside Buoy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Seaside Buoy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Seaside Buoy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
