ODoggy Customer Insights

1. After paying a subscription, I was treated to a video with an abysmally slow framerate, and it might as well have been a slide show.I've been trying to cancel this subscription since Jan and every month I'm being charged.I love that I can see my dog, but like others, I canceled the monthly subscription end March not to renew 4/24, and don't you know they took the money out of my account.

2. Beware! The single month option does not work! You will be charged monthly until you cancel your subscription through Google Play.The one time only subscription does not work.

3. But, I was billed both times! Additionally, less than 24 hours after I paid (twice) I requested a refund of the double charge and asked if I could get refunded for the year subscription I purchased less than 24 hours prior because my dog was kicked out of the doggie daycare 🙄.

4. Once you sign up you will be charged repeatedly every month unless you go into your google play store account and cancel the subscription.

5. One week later after no response I followed up but was notified the contact email provided by rhe developer no longer exists.The app seems to work great... for businesses where the cameras are turned on and working.

6. Don't waste your money on a subscription, you won't be able to see your dog either way.The app erroneously indicated I had not paid and required a 2nd payment for me to login.

7. Pulling up the website on a desktop computer doesn't work, and none of camera load.

8. They cancelled the "subscription" and refunded the extra charge.

9. Cancelled the subscription on google play and the app.

10. This time I will make sure I put a reminder on my phone to cancel after I use it if they do take the funds I stop the payment.

11. The browser version uses Flash, and it doesn't even load the camera.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ODoggy Issues

1. Fix ODoggy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ODoggy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ODoggy App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ODoggy" » Open ODoggy » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ODoggy » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ODoggy app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ODoggy servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ODoggy" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ODoggy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ODoggy might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ODoggy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ODoggy then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ODoggy not working


2. Fix ODoggy Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ODoggy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ODoggy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ODoggy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
