My Scans Customer Insights

1. Wish I could give 0 stars.I had an emergency application to send to a dealership, and all scanning places were closed a friend of mine recommended some other scanning apps on the phone but the all failed(poor quality) I kept searching till i found MY SCANS and managed to get clear pure quality and my documents were crystal clear- im very happy with the app and would recommend to anyoneβœŠπŸ‘has done evrything it said it would do.

2. I downloaded to test it but I couldn't share until I bought the pro so the only thing this app is good for without buying the pro version is taking pictures and adjusting the lighting.

3. Waste of money.Been using this app for some time and was fine with the ads for the free version.

4. Save yourself a ton of frustration, avoid this app.The app is good for scans only! Do not pay for the fax pages, you will never receive them.

5. Love that it is also free.Been using this app for years.

6. better than some you pay for tbh!!! great product! excellent job to tge creatorsGreat app for converting documents and pictures to PDF format.

7. Now suddenly it requires a paid subscription just to e-mail the document to yourself?! GTFO.

8. Scans are clear and can be rotated and cropped as well.

9. I have used for work and my children have learned to use for scanning and sending assignments to teachers.

10. No one is going to pay 6 bucks a month for something that was free just a few weeks ago.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Scans Issues

1. Fix My Scans Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Scans: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Scans App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Scans" » Open My Scans - PDF Scanner App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Scans » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Scans - PDF Scanner App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Scans servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Scans - PDF Scanner App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Scans app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Scans might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Scans. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Scans then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Scans not working


2. Fix My Scans Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Scans be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Scans not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Scans may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I purchased my scans in 2016 for my iphone. I use it a few times per year. I just realized I can't see the subscription in my iphone subscriptions. Is there another place this could be?

  • Good afternoon, I am writing to request a refund secondary to false advertising. I selected the free trial and it read that I will be able to cancel the free trial. I have had the app 10 mins before it drafted a years subscription from my Apple Pay. I am not needing the app for myself and was simply checking it out to see if it would work for my husbands line or not. I have already canceled the subscription and would like a refund as it was NOT free to try although it was advertised.

  • Hi! I tried the free trial so I could see how it worked scanning my documents and I tried to cancel it after a few days, but I still received the yearly charge! I was wondering if there was a way to get a refund, or at least make sure my subscription is cancelled. Thank you very much :)
