1. I bought the pro version a while back 2yrs.The app is nice, but the builder can't do complex systems, only simple and compound.

2. Unfortunately complex systems don't seem to be able to be made (i.e. have a separate rope pulling part of the system).Overall this is a good app.

3. However the list of devices to choose from in the mechanical advantage systems builder are only the Petzl ID.

4. It's okay, I was buying it so I could experiment with the complex systems builder, a lot like the complex systems in the manual section.

5. Calculates mechanical advantage and friction forces with predefined pulleys but doesn't calculate elastic loss.

6. Also it doesn't allow to create strange systems, but only typical pulley systems.

7. I work on a ID however have a sparrow for rescue as it has a much lower friction ration to the ID.

8. Would also like to see some other devices thrown in just for fun as well.Very intuitive UI, easy to use.

9. In exchange it's so easy to use.Could be updated at some point to reflect the times and new gear.

1. Fix Rope Access Pro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Rope Access Pro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Rope Access Pro App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Rope Access Pro" » Open Rope Access Pro » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Rope Access Pro » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Rope Access Pro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Rope Access Pro servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Rope Access Pro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Rope Access Pro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Rope Access Pro might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Rope Access Pro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Rope Access Pro then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Rope Access Pro not working

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Rope Access Pro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Rope Access Pro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Rope Access Pro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
