Day Customer Insights

1. It could make it much easier to spot critical and high priority tasksLove this app! This app has the best organizational system that works for me BY FAR; it was exactly what I was looking for! The integration with calendars is seamless.

2. I'd rate this app 5 stars if it were able to enter complex appointments (The first and third Wednesdays, for example) in one entry process.

3. Its difficult at a glance to see activities for the day and you cannot drag and drop activities to a new day or time without going into the appointment or activity (same with the to do list).

4. I finally had to delete the appointment, then reenter them.Won't allow me to change contacts colors and so I have my events and my daughter's that are nearly the same color.

5. You cannot change the default color from blue to any other color unless you do this with each entry.

6. I am looking for an alternative app now.The app has a great widget to put on the home screen for a quick easy view of any to do list you may have for the day.

7. It would be nice if we can assign text attributes to each priority such as color, bold, underline, and/or italics.

8. If you like to view your entries in the monthly setting, you cannot do so at a glance.

9. I wanted something on my phone to no longer have to carry around a little booklet everywhere, but after trying lots of apps, none seemed to have all the features I was looking for.

10. I might have been fine with the free version, but I got the paid one, partly for the extra features and partly just to thank the creators.

11. Cannot cancel calendars from my list either.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Day Issues

1. Fix Day Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Day: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Day App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Day" » Open Day by Day Calendar » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Day » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Day by Day Calendar app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Day servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Day by Day Calendar" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Day app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Day might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Day. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Day then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Day not working


2. Fix Day Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Day be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Day not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Day may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
