1. Magazine is good, but the app is a failure... beware!Rolling stone deducted money from my bank account two days ago but, everytime I go to read a article, I keep getting a ' subscribe to rolling stone digital to read full article! I can't email them because, everytime I click on the link it takes me back to the front page!? I don't know why they would deduct money from my account and not allow me to read basically anything! While the nice folks at RS Customer Service tell me the login is right there on the upper right, sadly, it's not - not on my brand new phone, not on my old phone.
2. So, what the hell is a person to do??????Failed app... I subscribed on October 28, 2021 and my credit card was charged $39.99 for a 1 year subscription, but haven't been able to log-in to my account since the first day! Doesn't even have a log-in option... you can only "Restore Subcription" which doesn't work.
3. I can't figure out how to cancel my subscription, and the "subscription FAQs" don't show up at all. What happened to Joe Kouten same happened to me! (I had been getting RollingStone since 1997 and decided to go digital last year.) I then realized that I wasn't able to log in.
4. I already pay for a digital subscription, that should also work for the app, but Rolling Stone wants me to pay twice for the same info.
5. Get with it.I have been a hard copy subscriber for 20 + years and the Rolling Stone app has historically been unusable.
6. The issues are not available on my phone, although I am signed in as a Google Play Store subscriber, and "Restore" purchases does absolutely nothing.
7. I subscribed to Rolling Stone in the Google Play Store.
8. Wake up! Rolling in the dough Stone! I have been loyal to you for 50 years.
9. I bought a digital subscription on my smart phone.
10. For now, I'll be accessing my digital subscription when on my phone via my Chrome App.
11. So I contacted RollingStone Magazine/PMC and they told me that the App is different from the digital subscription.
My name is Thomas Denny. I've received mags for a long time even after telling Rolling Stone to stop. This is my second attempt: I want to CANCEL my subscription. Please don't send me any more issues.
