1. The developer should remove these.I love this app, but if the developer(s) are looking for some new features to add there's one that I think it could be useful! Adding a explanation feature for some of the complex quotes it would be really useful! This could avoid any miss interpretations and it would be interesting to see the deeper meaning behind some quotes! Anyways, that's just a little feature that I can assure that adds value to the app, hopefully you're doing well dear developer(s)! ( ◜ ‿ ◝ ) ♡incredible app, I really like the quotes provided here.

2. Only problem and it's somewhat significant, is that some of the quotes don't fully display on the status bar and when you click on the quote to see the full thing when the app opens it takes you to a random quote instead.

3. However, I uninstalled because some of the quotes and passages seem to have been cherry picked from the original literature, the most egregious example completely reversing the intended meaning of a passage from Epictetus' Discourses and Selected Writings.

4. The search feature is very nice too, but the heuristics are weak, i.e. no RegEx.I used it for a while because it was great to ponder some quotes early in the day.

5. Love it, thanks so much!I've kept the daily notifications on for a long time and have for the most part have enjoyed the quotes and I've favorited many of them.

6. Not to mention is was very inconvenient to actually reference and research any quotes because the text is not selectable, therefore you can't copy and paste.Simple design, everything it needs to be and nothing more.

7. I could be on the 45th quote, and then I accidentally hit the home button and reenter; then I have to scroll through 45 quotes again to see anything new.

8. I love the notification feature as I start my day with a change of mindset through each quote and almost always end up sharing with others.

9. If you want to easily search based on parts of the quote or copy and paste text, you'll need to find other methods.

1. Fix The Stoic Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart The Stoic: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the The Stoic App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "The Stoic" » Open The Stoic » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for The Stoic » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear The Stoic app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from The Stoic servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "The Stoic" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check The Stoic app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, The Stoic might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall The Stoic. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall The Stoic then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing The Stoic not working

2. Fix The Stoic Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make The Stoic be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to The Stoic not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, The Stoic may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
