Why should I report an Issue with Cdian - Chinese Dictionary?

1. Cdian is a lightweight English-Chinese dictionary that presents clear and concise search results in a swift manner.

2. You can search for words using Chinese, pinyin or English and display results in simplified or traditional text.

Very handy for quick reference.so good but having flash card could be more comfortable.Thanks Ad这是好的学习的时(this app was very satisfied me and good for me to learn)◉‿◉Very useful appအသံမပါ။ v simple.There are lots of detailed character and word articles with pinyin transcription, annotated by usage frequency, but the results don't seem cluttered and work great both for extending your vocabulary and for quick reference.

Please SIR, add this really useful feature in your next version🙏🙏🙏Fist of all a GREAT thanks to developer Richard , secondly I have two request ;1-if it is possible please add multiple radical search function 2-for some characters which are not entered in dictionary , it would be nice if user could do this manualy.Thanks again.Excellent. 3. Also, search by radicals is a very interesting feature.There is no character analysis and no stroke order animation unlike its Japanese counterpart.

4. I like "jsho" (The Japanese Dictionary of this same creator) more because it has an extra feature of "search by common words".

5. This happens with whichever ones I put together.It is really a good App and I LOVE it😍😍😍But I think there are certain things which could be improved.

6. Immediately I try to highlight more than one, the previous one becomes unhighlighted and it doesn't form a new character.

1. Fix Cdian Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Cdian: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Cdian App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cdian" » Open Cdian - Chinese Dictionary » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cdian » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Cdian - Chinese Dictionary app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cdian servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cdian - Chinese Dictionary" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Cdian app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cdian might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Cdian. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cdian then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cdian not working

2. Fix Cdian Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cdian be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Cdian not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Cdian may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
