1. I live in France but am not fluent in French by a long way - looking up a word here and reading the definition in French rather than using the Larousse French - English dictionary (an equally excellent sister app BTW) except in extremis really helps my language skills.
2. Maybe somebody else has had this problem and solved it? Would be nice if you would let me know.Excellent. I only wish it had full-text search and the ability to save notes in conjunction with bookmarks.after purchase it , I could not download it though there is a space and network is so fast I think there is an error in the apps.Very good dictionary.
3. Update for Larousse: Why don't you offer this very nice dictionary anymore in the Google Play Store? This isn't a French to english dictionary, this isn't that.
4. 😐simple and does the job.Best french dictionarybest french dic for androidVery good appThe best French dictionary and superb value for money.
5. It's basically a dictionary app for French like the dictionary app for English if you want to know the meaning of words.
6. Unfortunately even though these options and more are shown in the advertisement for the app, I find I am unable, no matter what, to access anything other than the word definition page.
7. I like the fact that it offers so much more then simple word lookup, so very much more about the language, history, arts and culture etc.
8. No other dictionary app I've tried comes close to this one.
9. It's all in french.
10. I purchased the Larousse because my whole long life I believed larousse to be the creme-de-la-creme.
11. Use it offline but needs a connection to be able to hear the words pronounced.
