1. please, wnyc, fix this issue for android users.How can I love a station so much, and hate it's app almost as passionately?? I could deal with the constant crashing (frequently right in the middle of an important interview) if I then wasn't subjected to a 'commercial' (the same one I had just listened to the previous 3-5 times it crashed in the past half hour) before I can continue listening! I'm begging you to fix this.April 21/20, This app is a love hate relationship.

2. Please WNYC, spend a few of my donation dollars to hire a decent app designer.Developers are not paying attention to feedback! The app keeps crashing, very frustrating in the middle of an article of interest.

3. It crashes constantly, usually in the middle of an item I'm trying to hear, and then reloads its PR message everytime I restart the stream, so I'm constantly missing content I'm trying to hear.

4. Forget it, I will un-install and use the browser based app instead.Every time I pause/play the radio station I am forced to listen to the same podcast ad over and over.

5. The radio already plays ads, why do I also have to listen to in app ads as well? New issue: audio stops and error message appears "could not stream audio, please check your network connection" over and over.

1. Fix WNYC Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart WNYC: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the WNYC App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "WNYC" » Open WNYC » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for WNYC » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear WNYC app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from WNYC servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "WNYC" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check WNYC app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, WNYC might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall WNYC. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall WNYC then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing WNYC not working

2. Fix WNYC Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make WNYC be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to WNYC not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, WNYC may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
