iDisciple Customer Insights

1. iDisciple's quality & content has decreased, & the fact that I can only read like three things a day is pretty bogus.. I do love this ap and the content is vast, there is everything on here! This is how i start my morning and if i need a reminder of who i belong to during the day! Only probem....Half way through a sermon or pod cast it will just stop and sometimes throw an error message.

2. When I tap the start plan button it just reverts back to the plan page and the button still says start plan.I was allowed to read one item the first day I installed, & EVERYthing else I try to read or listen to requires me to become a member to access it.

3. One is it says free but everytime you go to click on a music selection or speaker it asks you to sign up for the paid service then if select no thanks it returns you to the home page.

4. The only reason I didnt give it five stars was because I cannot start a growth plan.

5. I do love this ap and the content is vast, there is everything on here.Amazing app but I paid for the monthly subscription and the app is acting like I didn't.

6. I have not went on today & when I went to read my growth plan, it said I reached my daily limit.

7. I found an awesome growth plan that had 5 parts.

8. Second suggestion: on your growth plans there's no finish button.

9. Not even a check mark (my thought- how about even a small Cross) on the plans that you've finished?because as soon as I click "Done" it goes back to as if haven't done it.

10. Also, the selection of speakers and music I found 2 artists and 2 speakers I actually know and I have been a Christian for awhile.

11. If one completes a plan, the completed plans don't go in a seperate box.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iDisciple Issues

1. Fix iDisciple Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iDisciple: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iDisciple App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iDisciple" » Open iDisciple » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iDisciple » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iDisciple app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iDisciple servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iDisciple" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iDisciple app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iDisciple might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iDisciple. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iDisciple then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iDisciple not working


2. Fix iDisciple Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iDisciple be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iDisciple not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iDisciple may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
