As such, I don't have the ability to read the entire scripture when it is longer than what fits in the widget, unless I go to my physical scriptures and look it up ... which defeats the point of having this.Edit: The app widget disapeared and reinstalling it isn't working after 3+ years of using it :( Sometimes I don't have time to study my scriptures, so it's great to have a different daily scripture right on the home screen of my device! My only suggestion: I've noticed that it seems to be the same scriptures repeated each year.

2. Really wish it would go back to working the way it did originally.I love this widget, but lately it says loading scripture of the day everytime I reboot my phone.

3. I love having having it, but I really don't want to have to deal with having to uninstall and reinstall it.I used to love this widget! but with the recent Samsung S8 update, it no longer displays a scripture.

1. Restart Scripture A Day Widget (LDS): Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Scripture A Day Widget (LDS)" » Open Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Scripture A Day Widget (LDS)" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Scripture A Day Widget (LDS). If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Scripture A Day Widget (LDS) not working
