1. HP48's "grayscale mode" cannot be emulated.
2. Port of the X48 project (sources available on github).
3. Emulator of the HP 48 scientific calculator, using RPN.
4. Cool tip: tap the HP's LCD to show/hide a simpler numeric pad !
1. Since its a bit smaller on my phone, and I can't feel the keys on a touch screen, it's easy to hit the wrong button.great app, but while the author did well the most challenging part, he added a feature that randomly changes the keyboard to a silly numeric only keypad and you are trapped there and have to reset the whole application, not viable in a exam.
2. maybe base the seed in current time or something rather than returning sequential entries in an array (which is what it seems to be doing).Love the program when it works.
3. Obviously in a regular hp 48g nobody can prevent you from accessing your hardware keys.i enjoy using this since i have been a long time hp48g user.
4. Once I learned that there was a phone version I downloaded it because using the base calculater on my phone was confusing.
5. The right way is to set the flag permanently in the "mode" menu which works but isn't retained when shut down.I have used the physical version of this calculater for 10+ years.
6. I mostly just use it for addition & subtraction that I'm too lazy to do in my head (and for tax season I'll pull out the physical HP48GX for old times sake) but it's hard to pick up a basic calculator once you get RPN into your head.
7. The default flag setting is symbol, so anytime you use a symbolic constant like pi, the symbol displays rather than the number.
8. However this is one of the best emulations I have used.It works just like an hp48 for everything I've tried.
9. Found this phone app and thought cool, now I have the calculator I know and use daily on my phone.
10. every time the app starts the function returns the same sequence of values.
11. I now have the calculater I use daily for work on my phone.
