1. I don't mind the notifications, I mind the custom notification sound that was introduced and can't be turned off.Since the last update the app freezes on the startup screen.. It's been going downhill for some time now.. Wouldn't recommend! In a few weeks, awsome... Luckily you guys also have a fully functional website.. Oh wait mean commercials with some news, mostly sponsored content inbetween.

2. I really wish they would just turn it off again, or give us a button to hide all functions related to it from the app.Lost swipe trough news function since last update and got way too many intrusive ads that pop into your news feed, causing you to loose your reading point.

3. Now the app is closed which is very annoying.Keeps pushing like 5-10 notifications at the same time when a new notification gets send...Added a custom notification sound for their push alerts that overrides your own notification sound and is quite loud.

But that doesn't work for sports, and apparently Nu.nl thinks there is only football and formula1, both sports I don't care for... rating would be higher if I didn't have to suffer through daily updates on Max Verstappen and the demotions of teams with smaller fanbases than the users of this appPlease don't auto start video's.

5. I don't care much for football and formula1 which covers half the news output on Nu.nl.@DPG's standard reaction to reviews is to request an email repeating the problem described.

6. Hooorraaaay... Dot Dot DotCan indicate I don't care for specific news, which is great in getting only the pop-ups I want.

7. Youtube does it alot better concerning ads.Since yesterday, I get again the spam of "important announcements" which I deliberately turned of in the apps settings (still is turned off).

8. The amount of sports news is out of balance with other news and its a shame you cannot choose which topics you would and would not like to see.

1. Fix NU.nl Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart NU.nl: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the NU.nl App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NU.nl" » Open NU.nl - Nieuws, Sport & meer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NU.nl » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear NU.nl - Nieuws, Sport & meer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NU.nl servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NU.nl - Nieuws, Sport & meer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check NU.nl app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NU.nl might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall NU.nl. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NU.nl then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NU.nl not working

2. Fix NU.nl Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NU.nl be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NU.nl not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NU.nl may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
