1. It has always been expensive, but the new version requires an exhorbitant yearly subscription (versus the single purchase price I already paid) AND it degrades the user interface of the current app by injecting an obnoxious reminder about the new version that cannot be disabled and must be endlessly acknowledged.
2. I did a fairly exhaustive search of the tasks, notes, contacts and calendar apps and Informant is the best!Ive been using this app for years and I love the customization.
3. My only concern is the lack of refinement on Android is far behind iOS and I hope Informant doesn't disappear as did the Windows version.
4. I should be able to open my calendar without having to click that I "got it" that you have a newer version and then either click "download new app" or "remind me later", just to be able to open my calendar and tasks! UNACCEPTABLE! Please fix immediately.
5. So you have to scroll, stop, see where you are, backtrack, repeat... Aargh! 2-Repeated annoying pleas to buy the upgraded version.Great app, but terrible treatment of paying customers.
6. On their blog they have been talking about updating the Android version to the level of Apple for over 2 years.
7. I'll migrate to a less capable tool or combination of tools instead of indulging that kind of offensive tactic.Though this app has a slightly steeper leaning curve compared to other PIMs, it's features and flexibility make it much better! You can literally customize it to the way you work, not be forced into someone else's idea of how you should do things.
8. I keep all my sensitive data in Informant and keep a current backup file on another BlackBerry device, so if anything happens to my Priv, I can just restore Informant on a new device, from the backup file.
9. The notes have a horrible interface! Left the beta program due to lack of development compared to IOS version.
10. I want to sync using a 3rd party task app (because why would I pay for an informant sync account when they don't even offer a PC app??) without having to pay an annual fee.
11. I understand PI needing to move on to newer versions, and not update this version, and I accept that.
