I can only agree with all reviews written on here since mid august: annoying alert tone (I needed to go deep into my mobile settings to solve this), offline content (what's that?), permission settings (data protection etc is a good idea, but this is made extremely difficult, seemingly to trick people into allowing things they don't want; worse, when used in browser on mobile you dont have that! Appalling!).Hi! The content the F.A.Z. punishes is of a really high standard! The only problem that keeps me from reading it more often is, that the app has quite long load times (not only on poor internet connections) compared to the Apps of other outlets.

2. Did you even check on how they appear, compared to readable Notifications from other apps? Looks like Nope/Whatever.I used to like the app, but some weeks ago (last few updates) it became ridiculous.

3. Don't waste your time with other interior newspapers in German.I really like the level of journalism and quality of items of news.

4. The content is, of course above standard, but the app on a meta level is honestly quite bad!It is not possible to highlight and copy words.

5. No answer.The text size (font) of Notifications is so small you might as well not bother to display them at all.

6. Why is it not possible to read/write comments within the app? Also, I miss the "ticker" from the regular web page.Best newspaper app and quality around.

7. As a non-native, it makes the use experience unnecessarily harder.I'll give a 5 star because I appreciate what you do and the app quality.

1. Fix F.A.Z. Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart F.A.Z.: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the F.A.Z. App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "F.A.Z." » Open F.A.Z. - Nachrichten » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for F.A.Z. » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear F.A.Z. - Nachrichten app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from F.A.Z. servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "F.A.Z. - Nachrichten" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check F.A.Z. app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, F.A.Z. might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall F.A.Z.. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall F.A.Z. then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing F.A.Z. not working

2. Fix F.A.Z. Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make F.A.Z. be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to F.A.Z. not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, F.A.Z. may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
