Why should I report an Issue with SwiftScan: Scan PDF Documents?

1. No folders, no labels! This is a huge problem! I purchased the pro version hoping this would be included but apparently it's not! Also it is pretty slow when capturing and processing images; it would take very long to capture a booklet or even a research paper... But this is secondary...As a side note, ocr is practically worthless.I used to LOVE this app since it really is user-friendly and creates nice scans if you really just need a mobile scanner, but after the update I can't keep my free account.

2. My last upload had a strange icon that was yellow with a little wave that almost made it look like a yin yang symbol.Scanbot is an easy to use app that can scan in B&W, greyscale, and color.

3. In the last year, I have seen nearly all features stripped away unless you pay 20 bucks a year! I was ok with ads but I was truly astounded to receive a notification today saying I could not scan more than 2 pages without a subscription.

4. As a student, this was an invaluable app but this is unusable to me now.The scan quality and control looks very good.

5. Two major gaps: 1) does not do perspective well, so a scan from an angle isn't the best (and a scan from straight on can be suboptimal because of lighting and shadows).

6. My only complaint is that the app is a little finicky about steadying the phone in order to scan an item.

7. Users can save their files locally on their phone and/or upload their files to the cloud, e.g., Google Drive.

8. 2) Android version does not allow deletion of a single page from a multi-page document.

9. Cancelling a scan takes 20 seconds, processing a scan about the same.

1. Fix SwiftScan Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SwiftScan: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SwiftScan App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SwiftScan" » Open SwiftScan: Scan PDF Documents » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SwiftScan » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SwiftScan: Scan PDF Documents app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SwiftScan servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SwiftScan: Scan PDF Documents" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SwiftScan app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SwiftScan might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SwiftScan. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SwiftScan then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SwiftScan not working

2. Fix SwiftScan Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SwiftScan be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SwiftScan not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SwiftScan may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
