1. And the side-by-side display when writing, which I used to reference my notes, is completely gone! I hope this app gets fixed; it was the perfect experience for me and now it's almost unuseable.it is great as far as word count and how many paragraphs for an essay or short story contest, but I start writing my novel and put it away for the night only to find the words missing.

2. It would be awesome if that could be included in a future update! Love the app so muchI have been using this app for literal years and currently have ten different books logged within my library and the formatting of this app is perfect.

3. My only issue at this time is the search/replace function doesn't quite work right, but it's not something to really complain or rate lower about.Finally a decent writing app.

4. I uploaded a short story to Drive and then later couldn't open it because the file was 'corrupted.' Like I said, the app itself is good, but that's an issue.I like this app so far – it's intuitive to use despite all the features it has, and I really appreciate that it's easy to export to epub.

5. The only way I can rearrange items is to move them to a different category, then back to their original category, to put them at the bottom.I've enjoyed using this app for a story I'm writing.

6. Rather than locate words, it immediately finds the very first letter type into the search and selects the first time that letter appears.

7. These range from leaving out typed words, deleting copied text, misplacing pasted text, misplacing punctuation and newly typed words.

8. Highlighting text with the keyboard (to delete a sentence or copy/paste) doesn't always work.

1. Fix Novelist Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Novelist: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Novelist App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Novelist" » Open Novelist - Write novels » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Novelist » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Novelist - Write novels app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Novelist servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Novelist - Write novels" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Novelist app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Novelist might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Novelist. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Novelist then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Novelist not working

2. Fix Novelist Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Novelist be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Novelist not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Novelist may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
