1. One really limiting factor for those that hold a Temporary Airman Certificate is that the input box for entering your certificate number for LAANC authorizations pops up the phone dial pad (on Android) making it impossible to enter "Pending" for the certificate number.
2. There's still an issue though because on android that field pops up the numeric keypad and you can't enter alphabetic characters.Impressively designed, looks beautiful, all the info you need right there on the dashboard.
3. I contacted customer service when it wouldn't let me submit laanc forms and came up with a weird error and Brad informed me of an outage with the FAA and their automation system for approving laanc forms.
4. I went ahead and installed briefly to learn what info is provided, and it is vastly incomplete, doesn't list thousands if obvious locations where you can't fly.
5. I can't put too much blame on them as it's difficult to account for all the different versions of Android, I just hope it's up and running soon as it's my go-to app for sUAS flights. The app seems incomplete.
6. Developer needs to finish adding functionality to app.Refuses to run in any way without full permissions being granted, including permissions that it ABSOLUTELY does not require.
7. Unfortunately it has been unusable since the Android 12 update on the S21 series, and B4UFLY (which is powered by Aloft) has recently started working again, which signifies the developers are a little behind in bug fixes.
8. This includes a lot of the asset menu, including the map when adding a location, and the drone type in the aircraft type menu.
9. I also cannot enter decimal points into my weight for the quad, which is supposed to be measured in kilograms.Kittyhawk was great.
10. 5 stars, highly recommend.Super easy to use the app and submit laanc forms.
11. Given that it doesn't provide that basic level of functionality it's not much use to me so there is not much point in me using its other features.
