1. Good Irish news app but still lacking search and videos play erratically - the video freezes after a few secs but the audio keeps going.

2. I have a top of the range phone that works without issues with ALL video content but when I play a video on the RTE news App the video pauses while the audio plays as normal.

6. Google Chrome displays the page perfectly, but if you have RTE News Now installed, Chrome passes control to it so you can't read the page.

9. I un installed and reinstalled it several times, checked permissions, camera access and all last resort measures without progress to the previous excellent access! So now it's gone for good.

1. Fix RTÉ News Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart RTÉ News: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the RTÉ News App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "RTÉ News" » Open RTÉ News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for RTÉ News » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear RTÉ News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from RTÉ News servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "RTÉ News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check RTÉ News app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, RTÉ News might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall RTÉ News. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall RTÉ News then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing RTÉ News not working

2. Fix RTÉ News Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make RTÉ News be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to RTÉ News not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
