4. DO NOT use this App to submit an initial application for SNAP, HEAP, Temporary Assistance, and Medicaid, a periodic report, or a recertification application.

1. (That would enable people to submit documents even if they don't have them physically to hand.) I have a new Pixel 4a, and in the dark mode of the app, all of the drop-down menus and text fields show up as blank, so I had to tap around the screen looking for the drop-down fields and type without seeing what I was typing. This app doesn't ever work properly.
2. When I press the ✔️ to submit the photo of the document, it goes right back to the "Select Language" screen 😠 Uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing the cache, force stopping the app, making room on my phone--nothing seems to work.
3. This is the 3rd time that I have tried to install and use this app across different devices and I can never get it to work.Gets the job done, but the image compression is pretty hard on the documents, and the aspect ratio is messed up no matter what I tried.
4. I have to jump through a lot of hoops to make sure my paperwork gets processed properly🤦4 stars for the convenience factor, however black text on black background makes it hard to read.
5. Easy to use and understand for the most part, but it would be really great and save so much time if you could choose a file to upload instead of being forced to take a picture.
6. I'd rather send through email this app sucks.Really convenient, I'm very grateful for this digital option! The 4 stars is provisional because I've only submitted the documents, I haven't seen how it goes to process them from the app yet.
7. I go through all the sign up, sign in and take the picture for an upload and after the capture, every time, the app crashes and resets back to the disclaimer and sign in page.
8. Also the timeout should be longer, imo.Convenient... however... i thought i could upload documents and submit them under different categories later.
9. You have to actually take pictures of things and, for income - with everything being paperless nowadays, that's super annoying to have to email yourself screenshots of different things and take a pic on a desktop - if I can even find said things.
10. I have a document scanning app that takes much better photos, and it would be great to be able to upload images or PDFs here.
11. It takes you to the NY state government website and then doesn't allow you to sign in until you jump through hoops to change the password.
