My Passion Customer Insights

1. I'm fine with purchasing a book, but by the time you purchase coins to read you've paid twice what the book is worth.I have signed up for the subscription TWICE and the app still requires me to purchase coins after each chapter.

2. It is a cool app but what is disappointing we have to buy coins to read more chapters? You guys a good but that was kinda down.

3. I'll update when I hear back I guessWhile the stories are great, I think that it's a bit ridiculous to have to constantly purchase coins to finish a chapter.

4. I bought in app coins, to enable me to read a story with a fabulous, captivating storyline.

5. With £10 I got to read 40 chapters out of 270.Good stories sadly the setup is a little to expensive for me.

6. Now when I insist on a refund, I am offered 100 free coins... No thank you.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix My Passion Issues

1. Fix My Passion Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart My Passion: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the My Passion App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "My Passion" » Open My Passion: Reading App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for My Passion » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear My Passion: Reading App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from My Passion servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "My Passion: Reading App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check My Passion app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, My Passion might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall My Passion. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall My Passion then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing My Passion not working


2. Fix My Passion Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make My Passion be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to My Passion not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, My Passion may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
