1. Only thing I would like to see is ability to differentiate between magnetic and geographic north, or a tool to determine declination at current location to make sure compass is accurate.
2. Great app! It allows you to easily tell where the sun and the moon is, where they are going to be, when twilight is going to occur, and gives you the various angles that are concerned at all these points.
3. However, those items being noted, this ephemeris, when allowed access to your GPS, provides data without advertisments👍 and seems to be quite accurate in detecting your location.
4. There is just a load of analytical data that doesn't tell you anything and there are no tips or anything to help get you started or to at least tell you what specific part you need to look for depending on your purpose.
5. And the 4 shorter lines, 2 orange and 2 purple indicate the Sun's rise and set position, and similar for the moon's purple lines.
6. via a "date picker." This is a very practical app; it also helps you to intuitively visualize how the Earth and Moon's position is related to the position of the Sun.
