However the app is no longer needed, as if you install the official Facebook app on your phone there is now a toggle option "add events to calendar" which you can find if you go Menu -> Events -> your events (little calendar icon at top) -> settings (cog icon).I've had this for about 2 years and it was working until yesterday.

2. Would it be possible to to sync the events into any webcal ? Even a read-only calendar would be a huge improvement to visualize calendars from any computer !I patiently await the day that this app starts working again.

4. Currently, in it's non-working state, sadly I have to give it a 1/5.The best Facebook sync app by far, I particularly like the way I can choose to only show "going" + "maybe/interested" events but exclude "not responded" + "not attending" + "birthdays" plus configure colours.

5. Due to FB birthdays etc not appearing on users calenders the app was updated (a rollback) on the 14th July to try and fix the problems but unfortunately FB birthdays are still not appearing on my calendar but events do show now.

6. the only drawback is that it creates separate calendars (in seperate account), therefore events are not visible in google calendar environment in web.

7. My day to day life was 100% dependent on this app syncing everything to my google calendar and I'd be willing to pay monthly for a working version.

9. So now you're forced to have have Facebook installed on your phone and you have to allow it to run in the background if you want the SOME of the functionality that "Event Sync for Facebook" provided.

10. Please have another look at the FB birthday issues because it's hardly worth having the app if FB birthdays do not show on my calendar.

11. I don't use birthdays from FB so not sure if that had been fixed, but the events and their customizable colors are back up and running.

1. Fix Event Sync Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Event Sync: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Event Sync App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Event Sync" » Open Event Sync for Facebook » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Event Sync » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Event Sync for Facebook app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Event Sync servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Event Sync for Facebook" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Event Sync app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Event Sync might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Event Sync. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Event Sync then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Event Sync not working

2. Fix Event Sync Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Event Sync be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Event Sync not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Event Sync may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
