eQuake Customer Insights

1. All the alerts are turned on, not only that but it doesn't even register that an earthquake just happened, which by the way was quite a doozy lasting close to 10 seconds....by the way, I'm on android Pie.The app no longer works.

2. and yes... my Location switch is turned on.Doesn't really work.... i downloaded this app because i live in Los Angeles and didn't know if this would work until an earthquake woke me up this morning.

3. Uninstalling. This app is unreliable and I will explain why(it doesnt work during a quake read more) advertising it as a warning app is unsafe and lulls people into a false sense of security.

4. So after hitting the back button to get away from the splash screen there were constant tries to debit money from accounts on my phone without permission! Complete failure on part of the developer! Had to uninstall the app.

5. I'm going to uninstall this and keep using Twitter for my earthquake updates :( really too bad.It has been useful alerting to the intensity, time and location of the earthquake.

6. Otherwise it gives a pretty good idea not only of your immediate location but world wide.It was great to track the massive amounts of aftershocks in my area, but then just stopped updating at one point.

7. Many times it tried telling me the aftershocks weren't anywhere near me, but every other app and even Google said otherwise. In the Alerts menu, I try to save a location for alerts and it won't save.

8. I live in Van Nuys CA, while I was feeling the 6.4 ridgecrest quake the app was unresponsive and showing no data for almost 30 minutes following the quake, It did the same thing when the 7.1 quake hit, I almost fell over in the one btw, as I was closer to the epicenter.

9. Review stays and Google play billing services are part of the permissions so it is possible.I've had this installed for a couple years with 2 Motorola phones.

10. When I asked for support on why I am not receiving alerts they were no help at all and I am 100% sure that I set everything up correctly.

11. Now I can't even add locative for alerts because you can't seem to search for a location when typed in.
