1. But if multi feeds are added in single widget, then it needs to show latest news on top whoever may be the news provider (news sort or update order needs to be by 'time' instead of by 'date' or by 'feed provider') and better if thumbnails (images) are shown in full or bigger size on top of news. Why won't links from the feed open in a browser when tapping on them? Tried setting different default browsers in Android, reinstalling, clearing data and cache, etc.
2. For example, I would want the feed name and date to be all in one line between the headline and the body, as is standard in newspapers. If you are finding that the widget isn't working correctly it may be due to having battery saver turned on.
3. I wish the developer would find the time to keep this app up to date with modern Android, so we can keep enjoying this great app.FEATURE REQUESTS: 1.
4. Developer's Feedback not shown by Google Play Store :( Widget top!Brilliant! Just what I was looking for - but could not find in any of the top-billed news apps.
5. However it's getting a bit long in the tooth, the code base needs some love to make it play nice with modern Android, and the settings UI could be a little more user friendly with a few tweaks.
6. All the others had fatal flaws, but this one works the way you want - scrollable, multiple widgets possible showing different feeds, etc.
7. To fix this go to Apps > Choose "All" from drop-down > Select RSS Widget > Battery > Optimise Battery > Unselect "Optimise".
8. My one complaint: it wastes a lot of screen real estate putting the date on it's own line and not filling out the content preview line (cutting off after N characters).
9. The widget simply does not react to taps on the news headlines.
10. I'm using an LG X Charge with android 7.0.Great app, but needs a little love.
11. (Fix definitely works for Android 9)Widget is nice and very useful.
