1. The purpose of the application is to provide useful gestures when you pull your phone out of your pocket, but there's not much point if none of the shake features work with the screen off, as I may as well just use a notification center button to activate the flashlight or camera once I've already turned on my screen. It's very easy to understand.
2. So, word of caution to those with Android 9, doesn't work well on pie yet.Brings the incredible usefulness of certain gestures (previously found only on Moto devices) to seemingly any Android phone! 😁 Once installed, service is started, and device is restarted, gestures work well even with the screen off.
3. I just use it for the quick flashlight because it won't open an app, shortcut, or website without the actual gravity gestures app being on my screen, which defeats the purpose of the quick gesture anyway, as the other options are either functioning phone toggles that I don't use often or are Pro version features.
4. It's like you have to get the gestures perfect, which means more effort than just opening the app.Upgraded to an S10e from a Moto G5 Plus, missed awkwardly chopping my phone to turn on the flashlight.
5. I still have to open the app to get the gesture to register.Doesn't work when the screen is locked, fixing power management options and allowing the service to run at all times does not fix this issue.
6. I hope you include the Pro features in the description too because I do not know what your Tasker includes.Really only useful for quick and easy access to system toggles such as the flashlight, Bluetooth, or phone orientation (which already has a gesture in my phone).
7. Developer: please make the sensitivity adjustable so that we can tailor to other phones, also it needs to work with the screen off.The app gestures work which is great.
8. Overall, it's a fantastic app that filled a double karate-chop sized hole in my heart.Going from Moto to pixel, I missed the chop for flashlight, twist for camera.
9. I can now be that awkward person again with this app! Also, a tip for anyone who says this isn't working- change sensitivity to high and make sure the screen is on before chopping (the screen-off feature doesn't work too well).
10. Not sure if this is doable.Great idea! Used to have a Motorola that had gestures to pull up the camera and flashlight preinstalled.
11. - Rotation to bring up a camera similarly sometimes doesn't work.
