1. You really can't ask for more!!Works great so far! Just look at how the stroke order works for a few kanji, and you should start to get a feel for how to write them.Great app, i would love if you guys made one for hiragana and katakana respectively it would be very useful as wellExcellent, even if you don't want to learn Japanese; It's nice to be able to translate some that you see.ok im not going to lie this might be the best doctionary app to use for studying kanji, you just write the word down and find it off of the similar search results that pop up .
2. I like the offline feature as I save battery and have more time to use the phone to study or to listen to downloaded Podcasts and videos with subtitles.Super easy-to-use app for recognizing and quickly searching for kanji.
3. Other apps, seem to only work if your writing is perfect, and even then after taking time to make the strikes very clear, they still don't always show the kanji I'm looking for.
4. Draw the kanji you are looking for and it recognizes it quickly, then you choose what version is the correct one for you, and it will show you every variation the kanji can be used in, as well as an English translation with definitions.
5. Only complaint is that there's no ad free version.Best handwriting kanji search! I use a different app for dictionary use.
6. I can write quickly and sloppily on my phone screen and find the kanji right away.
7. Thank you! It's a fast way to look up a Kanji you're not familiar with, as long as you know the basics of stroke orders and the number of strokes.
8. Even tried 私, which another user said didn't work, but it worked perfectly for me even with my bad handwriting and getting the stroke order wrong.
9. It gives you all the relevant information you could want in a kanji dictionary.
10. The full-screen video/sound ads are super annoying... but at $2 to remove them, I find it difficult to complain.Has worked perfectly for everything I've tried.
11. But when I need to look up a new kanji this is the best I have used.
