1. For my part, learning to read the Divine Office as well as to develop the habit of reading regularly, this app does the job! And, during my monthly Benedictine Oblate meetings and when I visit the Bristow Monastery, I can pretty much read along with everyone. If you are looking to wean off the digital breviary and go to the hard copy breviary this app is perfect.
2. Thanks! For simplifying the process of praying the Liturgy of the Hours, this app is wonderful! It completely eliminates the confusing and time consuming process of flipping between pages and books.
3. It shows the page placement for both the full liturgy of the hours and the shorter Christian prayer version of the liturgy of the hours.
4. I appreciate the audio feature most of all!As an app for the Divine Office, it does what it should well.
5. Each hour lists the page numbers for both Christian Prayer and four-volume, in accordance with the church calendar.
6. You can also read and listen to the prayers to make sure you are doing them correctly.Transforming my prayer.
7. I'm not sure why the Divine Office book and the app songs do not match.
8. Minor issues are that some hymns sound like obscure folk songs from the 1960's and 70's, and some reading is overly melodramatic.
9. At least on my Samsung phone I am unable to pause by a drop down like spotify or other audio apps.
10. Either way, it works! High praise! The app is great for a non-denominational application to the Liturgy of the Hours.
11. Thank you!Better then reading, but you can still read and listen at the same time.
