1. It doesn't feel worth going through this amount of trouble for a noted app that only has very basic functionality without a subscription, while still taking up at least ten times the storage space as other basic notes apps.

1. Fix Standard Notes Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Standard Notes: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Standard Notes App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Standard Notes" » Open Standard Notes » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Standard Notes » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Standard Notes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Standard Notes servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Standard Notes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Standard Notes app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Standard Notes might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Standard Notes. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Standard Notes then reinstall.
