So i don't really know what to rate app yet it seems like it would be very fun if it would just connect.Not saying its bad I just have a problem with programing and connecting I put energizer max batteries in it and i click the option "dry cell battery" it disconnects from the remote controll and says as the bot name (as i customized the name) to little brain 4191 I have a set 10 so i dont know why im having problems and when i have servos connected it doesnt want to workyour app is broken you can't remote control max anymore.

2. And support or the app itself improving at all... Are you going to update app and software on max to allow more devices and improve Bluetooth firmware??? Nephew is gutted and so far the boxer toy and app from another company far outshine this app and device...great app sofar, synched up right away, got the mecaspider very fun.

3. When I press update, nothing happens! We tried on 3 different devices, updated the robot program downloaded from the website but nothing helped.

4. I did look the Bluetooth devices availables, and my phone detect the MS but the app won't connect, I tried with three different devices.

5. Upon turning on app & Max, app automatically updated & voila! All is well with the App, can now use it!Seems need to wait couple of days to process update.I have spend more than an hour trying to connect to the Spider and it's no working.

6. But nothing is faulty and works just fine.Can't get meccaspider to connect to Bluetooth on my cell have tried all I can for a couple hours now but still nothing.

7. It constantly loses connection to the sets bluetooth controller when trying to write programs and it is not possible to write programs for the controller unless the device is connected to the app otherwise the modules are not available.

8. Do not waste your money on anything requiring this app.Annoying with no results... Sony experia compatible phone and just like most people app is useless and help guides provide no real assistance and give all the reviews don't see this service on help.

9. Update: called tech support and they told me that this is a new issue and should be resolved in the next 24hrs however by reading the reviews this issue is at least a year old so tech support was clearly blowing smoke to just get me off the phone.

10. There should be an option to download the update for the robot to the phone and then send it to the robot.

11. after connecting Bluetooth it asks to update the app but the green update button doesn't do anything.

1. Fix Meccano Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Meccano: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Meccano App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Meccano" » Open Meccano » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Meccano » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Meccano app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Meccano servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Meccano" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Meccano app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Meccano might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Meccano. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Meccano then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Meccano not working

2. Fix Meccano Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Meccano be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Meccano not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Meccano may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
