1. And it gives him Something to focus on and is not as passive as handing him his tablet while he goes potty.I am a mother & a Nanny, and I use this timer app every single day! Every child I nanny for were fascinated with the characters they could choose, and they listened really well when the timer told them that time is up, and it was time for us to move onto the next thing, I got no struggles from the children with being ready to move on! This app is a lifesaver and it is a joy to use every day.
2. So parents, ask yourself... why do they need access to your photos and videos? Its creepy. This app works like a charm to get my son to eat fast enough to make it to the bus each morning! The only thing I can add as a suggestion is that because my son likes to beat the buzzer to get points it always means he misses the action of when the timer expires so i have to go in and change the timer to have a quick runoff for him to see it.
3. If an app needs access to something on your phone to work (i.e. a photo editing app needs access to photos) thats one thing, but a timer app does not need access to your files in order for their free sevice to work.
4. In fact, the option of customizing a morning routine with different music for different tasks or something would make this five 🌟 perfect.Review based on free version: A great app! My 5 yo son loves it and loves the visual aspect of the timer.
5. easy to use, good visuals and the music is funI dont know why a timer app needs access to my files, photo and media in order to use just a timer... And then not allow me to use the app when i refuse.
6. I'm using this as a motivation for my kids to finish their homeworks, and it really works! Coz the characters are too cute, they didn't even want them to explode so they will try their best to finish within the time.
7. My kids love this! We use the free version and im not sure whether the paid version has more features, but it would be nice if this worked while using other apps.
8. Do, I reinstalled because my son wanted the "firework" timer [signed firework for BOMB, a device that KILLS people.. usually].
9. However using this timer at an elementary school, I have to be very selective on some of the characters that I use.
10. In a way some are valid like for example, in CA we take bomb threats extremely seriously considering that our culture unfortunately has been accustomed to threats of shootings therefore even a kid friendly bomb may be an inappropriate character to show to a child.
11. Also make my life easyGreat timer works great and all.
