1. No wander you have this rating.Would not recommend installing, first you have to pay to find a number which would be fine if it weren't pricey as hell and if it was mentioned in the beginning, second I doubt it even works because I'm not willing to pay to just guess the outcome it might not even work, probably just gonna take your cash and give you some random ass location, and if you're gonna have to pay to use this app you'd at least not have to put up with spam but nope, you get over charged fees and spam, greatDO NOT INSTALL THIS APP.
2. You open it up, type in a number / pick grom your contacts and Whoopsie daisy! To actually use this "free" app, you have to pay £14.99 a month! Honestly, who thought of that? Oh.
3. But there is hope: the app does not deliver! The "free" version doesn't do anything, except for collecting your location and contacts.
4. So in conclusion, this is an awful app that isnt worth the money.I understand that it's okay to have a premium version with more options but that is only when you allow the app to be used for free, partially.
5. Cancelled subscription after 30 mins not even 3 days free trial.
6. 😡😠😠😠So I installed this app though i knew you had to sign up for a membership but it said that I have a free 3 day trail and so I signed up and the app works fine.
7. In that case the person would know that their location was available so they could turn off their location, disable or delete the app, so there is no point unless they want you to know.
8. So you can NOT just follow anyone (unknown), you can NOT see exact location data as with a GPS-tracker (false ad!), etc.If I could give this a minus score I would, definitely one to avoid at all costs.
9. The app is free, yes, but other than that nothing else.It's unbelievable that developers get away with such misleading advertising! I did not even need to try this app, to see the fraudulent scene here.
10. And this is just creepy, if someone gets your number or ahold of your phone and you have this app they can easily find you or your friends.
11. It turns out that its not working unless the searched phone has the same app installed and it gave permission to be found (which probably makes it legal).
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix FindNow Issues
1. Fix FindNow Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart FindNow: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the FindNow App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FindNow" » Open FindNow » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FindNow » click "UPDATE".
- Clear FindNow app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FindNow servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FindNow" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check FindNow app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FindNow might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall FindNow. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FindNow then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FindNow not working
2. Fix FindNow Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FindNow be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FindNow not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FindNow may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
