1. On the plus side, NS content is always good and the reading experience is fine on my phone.I enjoy the magazine but do not use the app as much as I would like to due to a fatal flaw that other reviews have mentioned: the 3 font size choices are tiny, gigantic or comically gigantic.
2. No idea what the password is (surely one of the points of apps is not needing to sign in repeatedly) so end up giving up of NS and reading some other news.I like the New Statesman content but this app is terrible.
3. Old: The new version of the NS app is superb! So good to be able to read articles like a news feed on the site, as well as listen to podcasts and download the mag.
4. However the subscription management is none existent, resulting in any enquiries being a phone call and voicemail - get a chat facility at least! The other disappointing feature is the podcasts drop way after other pod providers.
5. I can only use the app when my eyes aren't too tired for tiny font (the other 2 sizes are for the visually impaired or people who enjoy perpetual scrolling).
6. Avoid until fixed.Nice for finding articles and great idea having a none advert version of the pod on here.
7. If these issues were addressed, it would be an excellent app.As well as the magazine, the New Statesman also publishes digital-only articles and podcasts.
8. Search facility is hidden away and not all web / print content (such as 'State of the Nation' section) is available on the app.
9. This would seem to be an easy issue to fix, so I'm amazed it has persisted. This is a great magazine and would not dispute that at.
10. Font is hard to read, font size options are poor.
11. This should be where they land first!!Good content but poor app.
