Privacy is a concern though; Pleco reads from the clipboard after every copy of something outside of the app even when clipboard reading is off (the default) / the clipboard read length setting is also broken; it can't be set to "Never" / the clipboard dashboard button seems to do nothing / this app can apparently cast one's screen / and dictionaries are downloaded from an unknown source.Firstly, I went into settings to change to dark them not noticing the icon on top left and found an amazing level of customization, also noticed the color codes 👌, then to see all the context from typing in a word of phrase to translate is mind blowing and so far no adds.

After you use it for a while and if you find that you like it, I recommend springing for the Basic Bundle, which gives you stroke order for all characters, not just some, plus better pronunciation audios, plus the optical character reader, and a lot more.Absolutely amazing app! 1. Fix Pleco Chinese Dictionary Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Pleco Chinese Dictionary: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Pleco Chinese Dictionary App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pleco Chinese Dictionary" » Open Pleco Chinese Dictionary » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pleco Chinese Dictionary » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Pleco Chinese Dictionary app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pleco Chinese Dictionary servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pleco Chinese Dictionary" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Pleco Chinese Dictionary app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pleco Chinese Dictionary might not work.
