1. (Does anyone at the paper ever read these?)Major Bummer Considering this is a major metropolitan newspaper as well as the major news paper for the state of Ohio, it is very disappointing that they can't or won't invest the time and effort to making a decent app in order to bolster subscription rates.
2. Hire an app developer who knows what they are doing please.I am so frustrated with how this app navigates, literally too complicated for it being a newspaper and news app, so many loops holes i have to navigate just to get to my account and restart service because it just wants me to log out and back in to find my account to make a payment, so many things that are just dumb to mention with this navigation system 😒I would like to see at least a little bit more articles on Lake County which is where I live.
3. Button doesn't work and backing up only goes to the login screen again.Great paper! Horrible app! Frequent crashes, photos do not properly render, other issues.
4. Would appreciate an update to fix these issues.I subscribe to 2 national papers (WSJ & National Catholic Register) and 5 local papers (Washington Times, Greensburg Tribune Review, Columbus Dispatch, Mansfield News Journal, and Plain Dealer) this app for the Dealer is aweful.
5. Kinda frustrating...UPDATE:On newest tablet, since sept update, stays on PD screen at start.Have to clear cache,settings, re-login,clear DB each use on newest tablet.
6. I really wanted this paper digitally but the app very frustrating - may not be worth renewing.Takes a long time to focus if you resize the page, and will lock up sometimes.
7. Also the screen redraw of each page is extremely slow all the time even on the newest and fastest tablet or phone.
8. It's hard to read, subscribing was a challenge, navigating is very cumbersome, app quit several times, menu structure lacks a lot (still cannot find my account info).
9. Still like the print version.Seventy percent of the time that I try to view that days PD, I can only view one from days earlier.
10. Great clarity and coverage on my tablet I appreciate it getting it on the non-print days.
11. Paper is worth the hassle, but no excuse for such a poorly performing app.
