Parents Customer Insights

1. Please do somenthing as it is very anoying and I paid a lot for this programe.I liked the old version much more... The app is logging me out everytime I close it so everytime I want to open the app I need to write my credentials.. this also means that I don't receive any news because I'm not logged in the app.. Also, the episodes starts from the middle/almost end instead of the beginning of the episode..I have used this app and was impressed by the excellent audio and video quality of the presentations.

2. No background playback either! Lock your phone, app restarts and you start over from 'hi guys..'. So I have to listen to 'How to get your kids away from screens' masterclass being attached to the screen for two hours.. I kind of understand the idea behind this, but come on, which parent has that luxury..So much superb info that you don't have to pay for.

3. And when you have it, and use this option, one hour later let's say, you can't resume the video from where you left it: every time it starts from the very beginning! After it happens I just close the app annoyed that I didn't finish my video to watch.

4. Thank you, parents app.I watched the prerecorded video after as couldn't access the live due to technical faults between the link given and my phone.

5. I am losing my interest using this app because of this issue, so unfortunate for the interesting content.Recording replay is superinconvenient - no pause/start/fast forward/change speed/time codes so you have to listen to 'greetings everyone' for ten minutes.

6. Wish we could keep the recording.Just bought the All about parenting program finally after attending a couple of the seminars on the Parents app and being extremely satisfied with both the app's functionality and the seminars.

7. 5 stars for all and everything! Thank youEven if updated the system and the app so many time, i delete it and reinstall all over, once at 3-4 days it closes direcly, i cannot do anything, the app just closes by itself.

8. It's very frustrating.the program is great, the app not so much; most of the episodes start mid way or close to the end and i need to go always back to the app to start from beginning.

9. If I want to go back and watch again a specific video, it jumps to a random video.

10. I can watch videos on the go, which applies to my daily parenting life.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Parents Issues

1. Fix Parents Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Parents: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Parents App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Parents" » Open Parents » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Parents » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Parents app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Parents servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Parents" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Parents app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Parents might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Parents. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Parents then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Parents not working


2. Fix Parents Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Parents be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Parents not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Parents may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
