1. Video often loads a blank or frozen blurred screen, and you can't easily navigate through time...scroll idea makes sense but when the video doesn't load or play what's the point? When someone rings the doorbell it takes 20 sec to load the video, too.
2. You send me a usage email that is a waste of time without data to back it up.Good Smart Thermostat, but Needs updating! It'd be nice if the app showed the temp.
3. This is not optimal if you want to turn off your air-conditioning or heat at selected times of the day/ night.Nest app has been falling apart lately.
4. Started doing this right around when Google took over.Good from up close including doorbell notifications but not very good picking up activity from the sidewalk or street which in my case is less than fifty feet away.
5. It does a great job picking up every flying insect near the camera though!🙄Update...again. App is finicky, I used to get a notification and be able to pull down notification and get a screenshot of the action happening but now that's gone.
6. The Nest will turn on the air-conditioning to have the temperature at the selected temperature of the scheduled time.
7. I have no idea of settings are supposed to be maintained in Google Home or the Nest app, And they don't seem to communicate as when changes in one happen they will be overridden by the other.
8. They are some predetermined values for "morning", "night", etc, that do not align with my actual life.Works great for us as retired folks since we don't have a set schedule.
9. I get guests in my house sometimes, It would be nice if their was a button on the home page that gets the thermostat out of eco function & into a standard temp with a press of a button.
10. And the schedule slides are hard to control using my Pixel 7 pro.Good, but the schedule interface is awkward to use.
11. I should be able to have complete control over programming my controls, but switching temperature sensors is limited to 3 or 4 times per day, and you don't even get to choose what those times are.
