1. But the devs have stuck by it and continue to improve it.I'm sorry MSeven, I have used your product since the first version but I just bought a new Windows 11 PC and after 3 hours I could only get the desktop - mobile Wi-Fi sync to work once.

2. I can't wait for passwords to become obsolete with something more intuitive.I have trusted mSecure with my passwords for almost 10 years now! When mSecure 5 was first released, I did not like it and kept using the old version for almost 2 years.

3. With the free version, you have to manually re-enter any accounts and passwords from your other device.

4. It works with all my devices, syncs seamlessly, and a life saver! I think it is very sad that a great company, with an amazing product like this, is getting slammed so negatively by people who run their unwise mouths way quicker than their wise minds.

11. I think, they should allow fingerprints access, even for those who don't want an updated version,with a version, wherein I don't pay for the app, as I have just the basic app.V5 is improving.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix mSecure Issues

1. Fix mSecure Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart mSecure: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the mSecure App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "mSecure" » Open mSecure - Password Manager » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for mSecure » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear mSecure - Password Manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from mSecure servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "mSecure - Password Manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check mSecure app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, mSecure might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall mSecure. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall mSecure then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing mSecure not working


2. Fix mSecure Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make mSecure be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to mSecure not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, mSecure may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
