1. Stick with the online dictionary, because it looks better, works faster and succeeds at word searches.For some reason didn't show in my apps and sometimes opened when I copied web addresses.
2. I much prefer the WordWeb dictionary interface for which currently only the Chambers dictionaries appear to be available.Didn't like the fact that I must pay for use of a dictionary.
3. The etymologies do not display all special characters properly (it reverts to a generic box in lieu of the proper symbol...not a huge deal, but 1 star costPaper dictionary is excellent.
4. Hope this is as good, but why the daft naming of the app - 'English' instead of 'Collins' puts it in the wrong place in the app tray - and lousy icon, should be full size!I am English language learner.
5. It would be nice if collins gave me free access since i spent £40 on the physical dictionary, say it had a code in for the companion app ad free.
6. A bizarre way of working, which I don't understand and therefore will not use.So High Rate for Full Version of The Dictionary.
7. Specially with so many available, and free Online, and Offline, and in, and OUT of the Library, and now many also TALK the definitions plus giving Prounciation of the WORD plus THE WORD OF THE DAY.
8. The only other thing still missing is also the ability to set the specific volume used by the Dictionary for pronunciation, and reading of the definitions.
9. So will just use the web for looking up words.Slow: word search fails: visually unappealing.
10. The front matter or “special topics” of the printed dictionary are not included as they are with some other titles.
11. Unthinkable! There Is No Much Difference Between This One with Oxford Dictionary Which Is at Nearly 1/7th Rate of This Dictionary.
